Radboud Scholarship Programme for International Students

 

Brief description: 

The Radboud Scholarship Program provides the chance for a certain number of exceptionally brilliant prospective students from outside of the EEA to obtain financial assistance to attend Radboud University and participate in a full Master’s degree program that is taught in English.

Number of Scholarships:

For 2023/2024, a maximum of 26 Radboud Scholarships are available: Faculty of Arts (1), Faculty of Law (9), Faculty of Medical Sciences (1), Nijmegen School of Management (2), Faculty of Philosophy, Theology and Religious Studies (1), Faculty of Science (10), Faculty of Social Sciences (2).

Scholarship value/inclusions/duration:

Your tuition will be reduced to € 2,209 thanks to the scholarship you received in part. As an illustration, a grant recipient in the academic year 2022/2023 will pay a tuition cost that is only €2,209, rather than €16,000.

The scholarships will also cover fees associated with your stay in the Netherlands, such as those associated with obtaining a visa, a residence permit, health insurance, and liability insurance.

In the event that you are chosen to receive a scholarship and you are accepted into a Master’s program that is two years long, in order to be eligible for the grant again for the second year, you need to have passed all of the courses that were offered during the first year.

Eligibility:

You will only be eligible to obtain a Radboud Scholarship if you:

1. 1. hold a non-EU/EEA passport
   2. are not eligible for the lower EEA tuition fee for other reasons
   3. have (will obtain) a Bachelor’s degree achieved outside the Netherlands, have no degrees achieved in the Netherlands and did not receive any previous education in the Netherlands
   4. have been fully admitted to the English-taught Master’s degree programme starting 1 September 2023 as stated in the formal letter of admission
   5. are able to comply with the conditions for obtaining a visa for the Netherlands
   6. are enrolled at Radboud University as a full-time student for the academic year and Master’s degree programme for which the scholarship will be awarded.

Application instructions:

You can submit an application for a Radboud Scholarship by stating in the OSIRIS Application system that you want to apply for a Radboud Scholarship while you are applying for admission to a Master’s program at Radboud University. After that, you will be given the opportunity to upload three more documents, including a curriculum vitae and two letters of recommendation. Your application had to be finished no later than February 28, 2023 at 23:59 Central European Standard Time (CEST).
