British Council Scholarships for Women in STEM 2024

Well, that’s about to change for good. The British Council has set up the  Scholarships for Women in STEM 2024.

#1. In Brazil:

Aston University Scholarship:

General Eligibility Criteria:

  • You must be a woman.
  • You can study in the UK from September/October 2024–2025.
  • You need money help based on what the UK university says.
  • You need a degree like the one needed for the course you want to do.
  • You must speak English well enough for the course.
  • You should have worked in the field or liked it a lot.
  • You must agree to stay in touch after the scholarship ends.
  • You shouldn’t have been to the UK before.
  • You must go back to your country after the scholarship ends.

What Will Disqualify You:

  • You can’t be British either.
  • You or someone close to you can’t work for certain UK government things or the British Council.
  • You can’t get money from another place for your UK study.
  • You can’t have got a UK scholarship before.

What’s Included in the Scholarship:

  • All the money for your course is paid.
  • You get money each month for a year, and some for where you live.
  • Your travel, visa, and health costs are paid.
  • If you need it, you get some money back for the English test.

How to Apply:

  • You ask the universities for the form.
  • You can ask from Brazil and Mexico about 4 UK universities each.
  • Check what you need to do and when to send it on the uni website.
  • You can send more than one form, but you need to do one for each uni.
  • Deadlines change, so look careful.
  • Check if your things match the rules before you send them.
  • After you send it, the uni will tell you if you can come.
